The Altar

No matter what this week held, the God who sits on the throne is rewriting every broken thing.

Eternal Renewal

"He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!'"

— Revelation 21:5

No matter what this week held, the God who sits on the throne is rewriting every broken thing.

Revelation 21:5 gives us one of the most powerful promises in all of Scripture: "I am making everything new." Not "I will eventually get around to it." Not "I made things new once and stopped." He is making. Present tense. Active. Right now.

That relationship you thought was beyond repair? He is working. That dream that felt dead and buried? He is moving. That part of your heart you gave up on? He is restoring.

God's renewal is not just something we wait for in eternity. It is something He is doing in us today, this very moment. The same power that will one day make all creation brand new is already at work in your life.

So as this week closes, let go of what felt heavy. Hand it to the One seated on the throne.

What broken thing are you trusting God to make new right now?
