You become what you meditate on. What has been feeding your mind this week?

Mind Renewal

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

— Philippians 4:8

You become what you meditate on. What has been feeding your mind this week?

Philippians 4:8 gives us a filter for every thought: Is it true? Is it honorable? Is it just? Is it pure? Is it lovely? Is it commendable?

Paul wasn't writing poetry here. He was handing us a strategy. Our thought patterns shape our emotions, our decisions, and eventually our lives. When we let anxiety, comparison, or negativity run unchecked, we drift. But when we intentionally redirect our focus toward what God says is true, something shifts inside us.

This Saturday, take inventory. What podcasts, conversations, headlines, or memories have been on repeat in your mind? Are they pulling you toward peace or away from it?

Renewal doesn't happen by accident. It starts with what you choose to meditate on.
