The Altar

You do not need to see the whole road. You just need enough light for the next step.

Illuminated Steps

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

— Psalm 119:105

You do not need to see the whole road. You just need enough light for the next step.

Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Notice it does not say a floodlight. Not a spotlight that reveals every mile ahead. A lamp. Just enough glow to see where your foot lands next.

We often beg God for the full blueprint. Show me the five-year plan. Reveal the ending before I begin. But God's design for guidance has always been relational. He gives you light in portions because He wants you close. Walking with Him step by step, not sprinting ahead on your own.

Open His Word today. Not to decode your whole future, but to find clarity for this moment. That is how trust is built. One illuminated step at a time.

What step are you trying to see too far ahead of right now?
