You woke up carrying yesterday's guilt into a morning God already filled with fresh grace.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Read that again — His compassions never fail. Not sometimes. Not when you've earned it. Every single morning, mercy is restocked. The slate is wiped. Grace is poured out before your feet even hit the floor.
Last week might have been heavy. Maybe you lost your patience, broke a promise, or drifted from the version of yourself you're working to become. But God didn't wake you up today to punish you for last week. He woke you up to love you through this one.
Shame says "you're still that person." Mercy says "you're free to begin again."
This Monday, release what was. Receive what is. Step into this week knowing that the God who holds the universe holds your fresh start too.
