God gave Adam a garden, not a bank account. He gave him something to cultivate.
Genesis 2:15 reminds us that before titles, salaries, or portfolios existed, God handed humanity a responsibility: tend what I have placed in your hands.
We get into trouble when we start believing we own what we have. That belief breeds fear, hoarding, and anxiety. But stewardship? Stewardship breeds generosity, creativity, and peace. Because when it all belongs to God, the pressure to protect it shifts into the freedom to multiply it.
True wealth does not start with accumulation. It starts with a posture change. You are not the owner. You are the gardener. And a good gardener does not eat all the fruit. A good gardener plants more seeds.
