Kingdom Building

Joseph built an empire from a prison cell. What's your excuse?

Prosper Where Planted

"The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master."

— Genesis 39:2

Joseph didn't wait for perfect conditions to be faithful. He was sold by his brothers, enslaved in a foreign land, and thrown into prison — yet Genesis 39:2 tells us "The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered." That word "prospered" didn't show up when his circumstances changed. It showed up because his character didn't.

Here's the kingdom principle most people miss: God doesn't promote you out of hard seasons — He promotes you through them. Joseph managed Potiphar's house with excellence before he ever stood before Pharaoh. He served prisoners with integrity before he interpreted a king's dream.

Your unfavorable position isn't a punishment. It's a proving ground. Faithfulness in the small, unseen, and unglamorous moments is what qualifies you for what God has prepared.

Stop waiting for the "right" opportunity and start building right where you are. What season are you in right now that God might be using to prepare you for promotion?
