Romans 14:23 says it plainly: everything that does not come from faith is sin. That includes the things you do just to keep the peace, just to fit in, just to avoid the awkward conversation at the table.
Peer pressure does not always look like a dare. Sometimes it looks like silence when you should have spoken. Sometimes it looks like laughing along. Sometimes it looks like ordering what everyone else ordered when your spirit was already saying no.
God wired your conscience for a reason. When you override it to earn approval, you are not being flexible. You are being faithless. And that costs more than comfort.
Conformity feels safe in the moment. Conviction builds something that lasts. You were not made to shrink your faith to fit someone else's comfort zone.
