Bold Truth

Everyone wants to be a thought leader, but few understand the weight of that responsibility.

Influencer Inflation

"Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly."

— James 3:1 3:1

Everyone wants to be a thought leader. But James 3:1 says teachers will be judged more strictly. That's not a threat. That's a warning from a God who takes words seriously. Social media gave everyone a microphone, and that's not a bad thing. But somewhere along the way, we started confusing a following with a calling. Reach is not the same as readiness. Influence is not the same as anointing. Before you build a platform, ask yourself: am I accountable to anyone? Is there someone in my life who can correct me? Because the teacher's seat was never meant to be glamorous. It was meant to be weighty. The question isn't whether you have something to say. It's whether you've sat long enough with God to say it responsibly. Who are you accountable to as you step into influence?
