The enemy does not need to destroy you. He just needs to distract you long enough.
Think about that. Satan rarely shows up with obvious temptation. He shows up with another scroll session, another binge, another notification pulling you away from the thing God placed inside you. Ephesians 5:16 warns us to make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. That word "evil" is not decorative. Paul is telling us the environment is hostile to your focus, your calling, and your purpose.
Distraction is not neutral. It is warfare. Every hour lost to mindless consumption is an hour stolen from prayer, from building, from becoming who God designed you to be. The good news? Awareness is the first step to freedom. You can reclaim your time. You can guard your attention like the sacred resource it is.
What is one distraction you need to cut this week to protect your purpose?
