Everyone wants a harvest, but nobody wants to stay in the field. We live in a culture that celebrates the pivot but rarely honors the person who simply stayed. Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Notice that promise has a condition: if we do not give up. The harvest is not for the talented. It is for the faithful. The ones who kept showing up when the soil looked empty and the sky gave no sign of rain. Quitting has become so normal we dress it up as wisdom. But there is a difference between God redirecting you and you abandoning something because it got hard. Not every season of difficulty is a sign to leave. Sometimes it is the very thing producing your harvest. What have you been tempted to walk away from that God might be asking you to stay faithful in?
