Hustle culture told you mercy is weakness. God says it's the only reason you're still standing.
We've been sold a lie — that our value is measured by our output, that rest is laziness, and that grinding harder is the only gospel worth preaching. But Romans 9:16 flips the script: "It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God's mercy."
That doesn't mean effort is evil. It means effort was never the foundation. Mercy is. Every breath you took this morning? Mercy. Every open door you walked through? Mercy. Every second chance you didn't earn? Mercy.
Stop building your identity on a productivity score. You are not your output. You are held by a God whose mercy outworks every hustle you could ever manufacture.
What would change in your life if you truly believed your standing with God had nothing to do with your grind?
